HELLENIC OLYMPIC COMMITTEE

Innsbruck, Austria, was the host city of the 1st Winter Youth Olympic Games from the 13th untill the 22th of the January 2012. Greece participated with two boys and one girl, Dimitris Kyriazis, Massimiliano Valkaretzi and Anastasia Gogou.

The best performance came from Massimiliano Valkaretzi who took the 8th place in the Super G downhill event with a time of 1:05.55 and he is the most successful Greek athlete in the history of the Winter Olympic Games.
