Education: Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business – ASOEE (1996), Master’s Degree in Organization and Management of Business and Public Organizations (MBA) at the University of Peloponnese (2014), Executive diploma in Sports Marketing. (2011). Excellent knowledge of English and Italian, good knowledge of French.

Sports Activity: Silver Olympic Water Polo Champion in Athens 2004 Olympic Games, while she also participated in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing as Captain of the Women’s National Team. Key member of the Women’s National Team from 1994 to 2008 with participation and honors in 5 World Championships and 7 European Championships.

Sports Administration Experience: President of the Association of Participants in Olympic Games (2021 -), General Secretary in the Technical Committee for Water Polo of the World Aquatics Federation (2022 -), Member of the Technical Committee for Water Polo of the European Federation ( LEN) (2023 -), Member of the Athletes Committee and Water Polo Technical Committee of the FINA World Aquatics Federation (2017-2022), Member of the Committee for the Environment of the World Olympians Association (2021 -), President of the Greek Olympians Association (2014 -2020), Member of the “Sports and Women” Committee of the Hellenic Olympic Committee (2012-2021), Member of the Board of Directors of the Olympic Museum of Thessaloniki (2014 -), Ambassador for Peace of the International Olympic Truce Center (2016 -), Founder of the “Make place for one more woman” program with the aim of improving the position of women in sports at all levels.

-In 2015 she was awarded the European “Sports and Women” award by the International Olympic Committee.

-Speaker at the Social Forum of the United Nations (UN) in Geneva in 2018 and at the 32nd UN Human Rights Council in Geneva in 2016 representing Greece.
