Education: Graduated from Physical Education School of Athens
Professional career: Served as a Teacher in U/Grade Education. He worked as a Federal coach of the Hellenic Mountaineering Association of Naoussa from 1986 to 1992 and then as a Federal Cross-country coach at the Winter Sports Federation until 1998. In 1998 he participated in the Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan as a federal Cross-country coach.
Sports Activity: He has been an athlete of EOS Naoussa in Cross-country Skiing from 1978 to 1986, 1st Panhellenic winner in the men’s individual in 1983 and 1st place in the relay in the years 1982-1983-1984, multiple international participations in World Championships, World Cups and Balkans races . He has participated delegation assistant in the Winter Olympic Games SALT LAKE 2002, TORINO 2006, VANCOUVER 2010, SOCHI 2014, PYONG CHANG 2018.
Sports Administration Experience: From 1998 to 2014 he was President of the Hellenic Mountaineering Association of Naoussa. Vice-president of the 3-5 Pigadia ski center from 2000 to 2012. From 2010 to 2016 he was the President of the Naoussa Tennis Club. In 2000 he was elected Vice-President of Hellenic Winter Sports Federation for 4 years. From 2004 to 2021 he was the President of the Hellenic Winter Sports Federation. At the Federation’s General Assembly in 2021, he was elected a representative at the HOC and Vice-President of the Board of Directors. In 2022, by decision of the HOC Plenary Assembly, he accompanied the Olympic team to the BEIJING 2022 Winter Olympic Games as a chef de Mission.
