Thanasis Papageorgiou

Title in the HOC: Deputy Treasurer, Representative of the Shooting Federation of Greece

Education: Graduate of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science. Holder of a license to practice as a shooting coach.

Professional career: Responsible for teaching the shooting course in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science (1991 to 1993). Shooting Coach at ASAED (1990 to 2006). Police officer.

Sports Activity: Member of the National Shooting Team in Rifle competitions from the year 1978 – 1991, with Panhellenic records, Panhellenic victories, with distinctions in Balkan Games and Latin American Games, as well as participation in European Championships and the Olympic Games in Moscow (1980) .

Sports Administration Experience: Head of the Shooting Team at the OG Athens 2004, Head of Missions of National Shooting Teams, Director of the School of Shooting Coaches, in the year 2000 in Athens and in Thessaloniki, in the year 2007 and in the year 2017 in Athens. From the year 1990 to the year 2002 Special Secretary of the Board of Directors/Shhoting Federation of Greece, from the year 2002 to the year 2016, General Secretary of the Board of Directors/Shooting Federation of Greece and from the year 2016 until today Chairman of the Board of Directors. / Shooting Federation of Grecce.
