Member of the Plenary since: 2009 –

Title in the HOC: He has served as Chairman of the Marketing Committee and as a member of the Executive Board. In March 2013, he was elected as an ex officio member of the Plenary Assembly of the HOC. He was re-elected to the Plenary Assembly in 2017 as the Representative of Boxing, a position he continues to hold to this day.

Education: Law School of the University of Athens

Professional Career: Lawyer at the Supreme Court (Areios Pagos) and the Council of State. He has been practicing law continuously since March 1980, maintaining an independent, organized, and fully staffed law office. In 2012, he founded the law firm “Athanasios G. Kanellopoulos & Partners Law Firm,” where he serves as President and Managing Director. Since 1993, he has been continuously elected to the Board of Directors of the Athens Bar Association. From 1998 to 2001, he served as Secretary General, and from 2002 to 2005, he held the position of Vice President of the Athens Bar Association.

He provides high-level legal services across all key sectors of business activity. His extensive clientele includes businesses, public entities, investment bodies, and high-net-worth individuals. His firm’s expertise spans multiple business sectors. He serves as a legal advisor to well-known companies, offering legal counsel and handling cases for both individuals and legal entities.

Sports Activity:
He has been involved in football on an amateur level, driven by his passion for sports in general.

Sports Administration Experience:
In July 2001, during one of the most challenging periods for Greek football, he was elected President of the Association of Football Societies, by an overwhelming majority, a position he held until January 2005. During the same period, he also served as the First Vice President of the Hellenic Football Federation.
